During this difficult time, we thank you for your continued support and loyalty.
Stoneway Guest House has always put the health and safety of its guests first and even more so during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have conducted a thorough risk assessment; reviewing every part of our guest house and our processes and made appropriate measures and controls to minimise the risk of infection from COVID-19.
The measures we have put in place include:
Enhanced cleaning beyond our usual high standards. All key areas of the guest house will be cleaned and sanitised to government guidelines on a regular basis, including door handles, light switches and regular touch points.
All guest rooms will be cleaned and sanitised using high quality cleaners and disinfectants. All linens will be washed at 60oC.
Investment in high quality hand sanitiser and cleaning wipes at key points through the guest house.
Provision of Personal Protective Equipment for all staff.
Staff will wear face coverings in the dining room.
Staff will maintain a high level of hand cleanliness and hygiene.
A copy of the full Risk Assessment will be available on our website and for guests on request.
The safety steps we have put in place.
We are the same friendly and helpful people as we were before COVID-19 and will do all we can to ensure you have a wonderful and enjoyable stay.
We are committed to providing all our guests with a clean and safe environment to stay whilst in Bridgnorth and using best practice Government and the World Health Organisation guidelines we have put in place a set of safety and hygiene protocols to ensure Stoneway Guest House is as clean and as safe as possible.
1. Social distancing
We are putting in place social distancing measures where possible, such as the guest dining room.
2. Hand sanitising
We have placed Hand Sanitiser for guest use at the entrances and in the dining room.
3. Cleaning and Disinfecting
We have removed many unnecessary items from around the guest house to enable thorough cleaning. All touch points will be cleaned regularly, using high quality sanitising products. We are also placing cleaning wipes at key points for guests to use as they feel appropriate.
4. Staff Health, PPE and Cleanliness
We will be wearing face coverings when in the dining room at breakfast service. We will be wearing gloves when cleaning. We will be following strict guidelines for hand cleaning and respiratory hygiene.
5. Check- in
At check-in you will be required to complete a COVID-19 form and a Guest registration form with your home address and contact details in line with Government track and trace requirement. All keys will be sanitised for your protection. We will not take you to your room unless you require us to do so. We will not be able to assist with any bags.
6. Your Bedroom
Your room will be deep cleaned and sanitised to a high standard. Remote controls will have been cleaned using anti-bacterial sprays. For your safety, we have removed all additional soft furnishings. We launder all our own sheets and towels and can guarantee they will be washed at 60oC. If you have booked a room with a shared bathroom, the government requires us to have a rota for the use of the shower. You will be allocated a time on check-in to use the shower.
7. Breakfast service
To ensure a high quality, smooth breakfast service we will request breakfasts are pre-ordered the night before. It will be necessary to limit the number of people in the dining room to ensure social distancing of 2 metres is adhered to. We will be allocating your breakfast time to you upon check in. We will serve your breakfast to your table, including juice and tea/coffee. We regret that there will not be a buffet selection.
8. Methods of payment
If you have booked through an online company e.g Bookings.com or Expedia you have already paid for your room. If you do require breakfast, there will be an additional charge of £7.50 per person for breakfast.
Our preferred method of payment is debit or credit card but we will accept cash if necessary. A receipt can be emailed to you.
9. Express Check-Out
To reduce contact with staff we are happy for guests to leave without any formalities providing payment has been made in full. When you leave please leave your key in your door and leave via the Guest Entrance.
These processes may change as we are required to comply with the latest Government guidelines.
